The admission process, step by step


  1. Submit the application

    Complete the online application form, or collect a printed form from the school office. Send the duly filled form to the school on or before the last date, along with photocopies of all documents and the previous marks card.

  2. Registration

    Once the application is received, the student's name is registered for the entrance examination. You will be contacted with confirmation.

  3. Entrance examination

    A written examination on the previous standard's syllabus — Kannada, English, Science, Mathematics and Social Science. Parents may bring students directly to the examination on the fixed date.

  4. Interview

    A short interview with the student and parents follows the written examination, held on the same day.

  5. Admission & documents

    Selected students may take admission accompanied by their parents, with the documents listed below. 60% of the school and hostel fee is payable at the time of admission.

Documents required at admission

  • Transfer certificate from the school last attended (attested by the B.E.O. if the previous school was private)
  • Photocopy of the previous class marks card
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Aadhaar number

Joining the hostel

  • Join the student one day before school commences.
  • Students must bring all listed materials and hand over the list to the hostel warden.
  • A separate hostel form must be completed and signed by the parents.
  • Hostel admission is for one academic year; renewal depends on the student's conduct.
60% of the school fee and hostel fee must be paid at the time of admission.

We admit students from Class 1 to Class 10. Many families join us at Class 1, Class 5 or Class 8, though admission at other levels is possible subject to seats.

A residential school suits a child who benefits from structure, routine and constant academic support. Our students follow a fixed daily rhythm, study under supervision every evening, and are looked after by teachers who live on campus. We encourage parents to visit, see the hostel and dining hall, and talk to us honestly about their child before deciding.

Pure vegetarian food only — nutritious, freshly prepared and served five times a day. Special meals are prepared on Sundays and festival days, fruit is served frequently, and milk is given at night during examination periods.
